About – 10 for leaders
10 for leaders is a project for the business environment. – We are a group of professionals passionate about learning who makes the time resources, information, skills of our members (leaders from various fields) more efficient by organizing events, workshops, where they exchange ideas and by generating relevant content to bring balance and inspiration to every leader in the community/Romania.
Toud – name identification, defining brand identity and design
We, Toud, facilitated the development of brand identity, applying our own process of identifying the common ambition, common values and formulating them. In this process, we worked in a mixed group (agency + members of the new project) organizing a series of workshops. At this stage, we identified the common ambition, shared values, vision, mission, brand personality, and the name of the future organization. We also paid attention to the learning market, the main actors, but also to the needs of the people this project aims (sketching a series of buyer personas), seeking to make the most of the information that both Toud and the members of the new project have about it the world of learning, in Romania.
Visual identity
10 for leaders means – transformation evolution network for leaders. We chose to use the number 10 instead of the acronym TEN. In this way, we managed to obtain a solid and recognizable symbol. This symbol has multiple values, on the one hand, it leads to the note of perfection 10, but also to the idea of man, of simplification (binary system 0 and 1), and even to the notion of complete harmony (having together straight shapes and circular shapes).
The color chosen is brave, we went for vibrant, vivid colors able to inspire joy, courage, the desire to exceed your limits, to seek freedom, but also the idea of giving on, of being generous.
The 10 for leaders logo is strong and easy to identify in a sea of logos.
An exercise
We validated the logo and visual identity suite regarding the logos of the leading learning and networking platforms in Romania. We sought to test to what extent the 10 for leaders logo is visible, memorable, and can act as a vessel to acquire content, relevance, and meaning during the interaction with the organization. Furthermore, we recommend this exercise for validating a logo, especially when it can be done in an organized way, on a sample of several tens of people.
