The term Publishing Design refers to the process of creating the visual appearance, formatting, and design elements of a publication, such as books, magazines, brochures, or even newsletters. It involves combining typography, graphics, images, and other elements to create a coherent and attractive design that is easy to read and visually engaging. It is not limited to the printed medium but also refers to the digital environment. Very often, the same content is built and prepared for both print and screen display. The process is different, and so is the result.
The design of communication materials is very important for today’s organizations, especially its adaptation to the audience, the consumption environment, and the time that each person can allocate for reading. This ensures not only the transmission of important information but also the creation of a strong brand identity.
